Ion exchangers used in water treatment systems for public consumption and industrial use play an important role in ensuring water quality.   • effective collection and transportation of saturated or spent ion exchanger waste;
  • use of specialized equipment for waste sorting and processing, which reduces the risk of pollution;
  • introduction of new processing technologies that allow to reduce the content of toxic substances in waste as much as possible (R5);
  • organization of regular monitoring of the state of the environment in places of storage (D15)  of waste to prevent the spread of pollution.
