The problem of handling household and similar waste that cannot be composted is becoming more and more relevant in the modern world. With the increase in the number of the population, the growth in the level of consumption and urbanization, the amount of such waste increases significantly. These wastes contain materials that cannot decompose naturally, creating serious problems for the environment and human health. Waste from aerobic treatment of solid waste, which contains non-composted fractions, is one of the biggest environmental threats of today.
The problem with non-compostable fractions of household and similar waste is that these materials, when they end up in landfills, remain there indefinitely, gradually decomposing and releasing harmful substances into the environment.
