Paper and cardboard materials

Paper and cardboard are an integral part of our everyday life, they are used for various purposes - from packaging to making documents. However, after their primary use is over, paper and cardboard become waste that needs to be properly managed. Waste from the mechanical processing of paper and cardboard, such as sorting, shredding, compaction and granulation, has a significant impact on the environment if appropriate environmental measures are not implemented.

The main problem associated with paper and cardboard waste is their large amount and the need for their effective management. Mechanical processing processes such as sorting, grinding and compaction create additional waste that requires special environmental management techniques. In today's world, the volume of paper and cardboard waste is constantly increasing due to the increase in the consumption of packaging, in particular due to the active development of Internet trade and other industries where paper and cardboard materials are widely used.

The problem is that a large part of paper and cardboard waste ends up in landfills or is burned, which leads to significant environmental pollution. In particular, the burning of these materials causes emissions of harmful substances such as dioxins and other toxic compounds into the atmosphere. In addition, a large amount of paper and cardboard waste occupies significant areas in landfills, which leads to the deterioration of living conditions in nearby areas.

Another problem is the insufficient development of the system of separate collection and processing of paper and cardboard waste. In many countries, in particular in Ukraine, this system is only gaining momentum, and a significant part of waste ends up in mixed containers with other types of waste.
