Lime sediment waste

Lime sludge is one of the types of waste generated in the process of various industrial and chemical productions. Its appearance is associated with the deposition of solid particles that contain various chemicals, including heavy metals and other toxic compounds. Such waste is often found in the chemical, construction and metallurgical industries.

Lime sludge waste is a serious environmental problem due to its high content of harmful substances and its volume, which grows every year. Improper management of such waste can lead to soil, water and air pollution. This, in turn, negatively affects ecosystems, human and animal health.
