Concrete waste generated as a result of the destruction of buildings and structures has become an important environmental problem. In the conditions of hostilities, acts of terrorism, sabotage and work to eliminate their consequences, the amount of such waste increases significantly. Instead of being a useful material, concrete often turns into a problem that requires an immediate solution. Concrete waste not only takes up valuable land resources, but also harms the environment and people's health. For effective management of concrete waste, it is necessary to implement modern methods of environmental management that will help minimize the negative impact of this type of waste.

The destruction of buildings and structures during hostilities, terrorist acts and other events leads to the formation of a huge amount of waste, the main component of which is concrete. This material, being the basis of many structures, after destruction requires a special approach to management. The problem is that concrete waste has a large mass, occupies significant volumes and often cannot be reused without appropriate treatment. Concrete waste can contain various impurities, such as reinforcement, asphalt, bricks, which complicates their further use. • use of specialized equipment for transporting concrete waste, which reduces the risk of environmental pollution;
• application of methods of environmental management of concrete waste, including their collection, sorting (D13) and reuse in construction (R7);
• implementation of labor safety standards when working with concrete waste, which will reduce the risk to the health of workers.

Operations for collection, sorting, crushing and processing of concrete waste must be carried out in compliance with environmental norms and standards. This will allow not only to reduce the damage to the environment, but also to increase the efficiency of the use of natural resources. Processing of concrete into secondary material is one of the promising areas of ecological waste management, which allows you to preserve natural resources and reduce the amount of waste that needs to be buried.
