The problem of plastic waste in the construction and demolition of buildings is becoming more relevant every year. Plastics, due to their unique properties, are widely used in the construction industry: from insulating materials to pipelines and cladding. However, their life cycle usually ends in landfills, which creates serious environmental and social problems.

Building materials based on plastics have a wide range of applications. They are used in construction to create light structures, insulating materials, pipelines, decorative elements, etc. However, along with this, a problem arises, which consists in their management after the end of the building's useful life.
