In order to reduce the negative impact of bilge oils and petroleum products on the environment and human health, it is necessary to implement comprehensive measures. Methods of ecological management of hazardous bilge oil waste (petroleum products) from pier waste pipes include various technologies and organizational measures.

• regular monitoring of the state of water bodies.
