Processing of slags from primary and secondary production

Slags formed in the process of primary and secondary production are one of the biggest environmental problems of the modern world. They are formed as a result of metallurgical processes, in particular during the smelting of metals, which is accompanied by the release of a large amount of waste. These wastes contain various chemical compounds that can be dangerous for the environment and human health.

Methods of environmental management of hazardous slag waste from primary and secondary production include the development and implementation of new technologies that allow reducing the volume of slag generation and their negative impact on the environment. This includes the use of secondary raw materials and the minimization of waste.

Development of infrastructure for waste processing and storage is an important component of environmental management. This includes the construction of specialized landfills, processing plants and disposal centers that meet all environmental regulations and standards.
