Hazardous waste management in the city of Hola Prystan, Kherson region is an important area of ​​the region's environmental policy. Located in an area of ​​active agricultural production and fishing, the city faces problems with handling hazardous substances, including waste from chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and petroleum products. To reduce the risks of water pollution, it is necessary to implement modern methods of accounting and control over hazardous materials.

Hazardous waste management in Hola Prystan involves a set of measures aimed at their collection, sorting, transportation, and further processing or storage. The lack of a sufficient number of specialized collection points remains a serious problem. Part of the hazardous materials ends up in natural landfills or in water bodies, which negatively affects the ecology and health of residents.

The introduction of modern methods of accounting and control, the expansion of collection points, the modernization of recycling systems, and active educational work contribute to reducing the negative impact of harmful substances on the environment and the health of residents. However, to further improve the situation, it is necessary to increase funding for environmental programs and strengthen control over the implementation of environmental standards by enterprises.
