In 2023, 12 cases of illegal dumping of toxic materials were detected, which threatens groundwater pollution. To combat this phenomenon, the authorities plan to implement a GPS monitoring system for the movement of hazardous waste and install video surveillance in areas of increased environmental risk.

An integrated approach to hazardous waste management in Chuguiv allows for a gradual improvement in the environmental situation.
