Ways to reduce harm
In order to reduce the damage caused by the waste of separately collected fractions, it is necessary to implement complex approaches to their management. Methods of environmental management of waste of separately collected fractions (except those specified under code 15 01) include several key stages:
- collection of waste separately from other types of waste to prevent their mixing with hazardous materials;
- sorting and treatment (D13) of waste to remove toxic substances and prepare them for further use or safe disposal;
- transportation of waste of separately collected fractions (except those specified under code 15 01) in specially equipped vehicles that ensure their safe delivery to the processing site.
Ecological waste management of separately collected fractions also requires the involvement of modern technologies that allow minimizing damage to the environment.
