Absorbents and filter materials contaminated with hazardous substances

In the modern world, the problem of environmental pollution is becoming more and more urgent. One of the biggest sources of contamination is used absorbents, filter materials (including oil filters not otherwise specified), cleaning cloths and protective clothing contaminated with hazardous substances. These wastes can have a significant impact on the environment and human health if not properly managed.

Absorbents and filter materials are used in many industries to absorb and filter various liquids and gases. Cleaning rags and protective clothing are used to ensure cleanliness and safety of workers. • collection and sorting of waste;
• shredding and processing of waste;
• transportation of hazardous waste.

Operations for the collection, sorting, crushing and processing of hazardous waste absorbents, filter materials (including oil filters not otherwise specified), cleaning rags and protective clothing must be carried out in accordance with established standards and regulations. This allows you to minimize risks to the environment and people's health.

Environmental management of hazardous waste also includes recycling measures (R13). For example, filter materials can be recycled for further use, which reduces the volume of waste and reduces the risks of contamination. Cleaning cloths and protective clothing can be cleaned and reused.
