Oils play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of many industrial processes. They are used to lubricate engines, machines and mechanisms, which reduces friction and wear of parts, as well as for cooling and cleaning surfaces. However, over time, oils lose their properties, become contaminated and require replacement. As a result, there is a problem of waste generation of other motor, industrial and lubricating oils.

Waste of other motor, industrial and lubricating oils is a serious environmental problem. These wastes contain a variety of impurities, including heavy metals, chemicals and other pollutants that can harm the environment and human health. Inadequate management of hazardous waste can lead to significant environmental disasters, pollution of soil, water resources and atmospheric air.

One ​​of the main problems is that many businesses do not have proper systems in place to collect and process this waste. This leads to their uncontrolled dumping in landfills or in water bodies, which causes serious pollution. It is also important to note that some companies use outdated recycling methods that do not meet modern environmental standards. This makes the problem even more urgent.

In order to reduce the damage caused by the waste of other motor, industrial and lubricating oils, it is necessary to apply effective methods of environmental management of hazardous waste. Among such methods can be distinguished:

• organization of operations for collection, sorting, crushing and processing of hazardous waste;
• transportation of hazardous waste in specially equipped containers;
• use of modern technologies for cleaning and reuse of oils (R9);
• increasing public awareness of the proper management of hazardous waste.

One ​​of the effective methods is the introduction of modern technologies of oil purification and regeneration. This allows you to significantly reduce the amount of waste and return oils to the production cycle. It is also important to ensure proper transportation of hazardous waste, using specialized vehicles and containers that prevent spillage and evaporation of toxic substances.
