Mineral lubricants and oils, non-chlorinated motor, transmission and lubricating oils are widely used in various industries and automobile transport. They are indispensable for ensuring the normal operation of engines, transmissions and other mechanisms. However, the use of these materials is associated with a number of environmental and health problems.
Mineral lubricants and oils, non-chlorinated motor, transmission and lubricating oils, turn into hazardous waste after use. - shredding and processing: hazardous waste must be crushed and processed by special methods to reduce its toxicity;
- transportation: it is necessary to ensure safe transportation of waste to places of processing or destruction;
- use of modern technologies: the introduction of advanced waste processing technologies allows to significantly reduce their negative impact on the environment (R13);
- educational programs: it is important to conduct educational programs for the population and workers of industrial enterprises regarding the correct handling of hazardous waste.
