Emulsions with chlorine content

Chlorinated emulsions — these are mixtures containing organic solvents and chlorine. They are widely used in industrial processes such as metalworking, lubrication and cooling. However, the use of these emulsions creates a number of environmental and health hazards that require proper management. In this article, we will consider the problems associated with chlorinated emulsions, their impact on the environment and human health, as well as ways to reduce harm from their use.

Chlorinated emulsions are formed as a result of mixing water with oils containing chlorine.
